Redhead Wench Well, here I am... I am fairly pleased with the overall picture, but I still have issues about certain parts of the costume. I like the shoes the best I think. The ruffles are nice, the fabrics were wonderful, but I think if I had my way, I would remake the dress top and bodice. In fact, if this were my wedding dress, I would be redoing them. I thought the hat was huge, but now looking at the photos, I could have made it bigger. Well, I will probably remake the hat, it was my first hat ever, and it came out rather 3rd grade on some parts. I ran out of time, and didn't get to make the flowers that go under the brim, so for next time, the hat will be remade and finished. |

Pirate Lorenzo's costume came out way better than mine. I am infinitely more pleased with his than mine... but his was unfinished as well. Well the costume pieces were finished, but the accessories were not. I would like to make a hat for him, as the selection of ready-made black hats was very limited (no... I don't want the Jack Sparrow hat...) and he is missing the red bandana (I had the fabric, but I didn't get time to finish the edges). He also is missing the brown sword belt, as this one was impossible to find. But all the handmade pieces came together well and looked quite good, so we will finish accessorizing next year. |

| Next year we will take better photos, in better light, with more detail... but for now, here is us at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Halloween Gala event we always like to go to. |
