" Protect, restore and appreciate the wetlands of the Pajaro Valley"

The Watsonville Wetlands Watch is a nonprofit community based organization dedicated to the protection, restoration and appreciation of the wetlands of the Pajaro Valley.

To fulfill our mission, Watsonville Wetlands Watch (WWW) advocates for wetland issues, educates in schools and in the public arena, restores degraded habitats, preserves what remains whole, and appreciates the unique beauty and life of our valley wetlands. In cooperation with numerous other agencies, we support studies of and planning for these sites.

The goal of this project, and Lynette Rota's involvement with it, is to have the a better functioning network in the computer lab, allowing the computers to share files, and to have a printer that all the computers can use. Another goal is to have the Watsonville Wetlands Watch website updated and currently relevant. The Wetlands Educational Resource Center will also have a website created, as is the main goal of the service learning project. The majority of Lynette's time will be spent on the creation of implementation of the WERC website.
