HARBORFEST WALTON LIGHTHOUSE TOURS
Lighthouse tours will be organized and led by Bill Simpkins, the man who first envisioned the lighthouse, and put a program together to fund and build it in 2002. The light was principally funded by Charles Walton, who dedicated it to his brother who died in World War II. The light is 48 feet above the water and has a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay. The tower and base weigh over 130 tons and are designed to withstand waves in excess of 22 feet above the base. Learn more on the tours! Tours will commence at 10 am at the lighthouse. Next Tour: O'Neill Sea Odyssey Education Center
